失控的群眾masses uncontrolable

九月九號，群眾聚集在凱達格蘭大道，

倒扁。

Tens of thousands of people have been demonstrating

in Taiwan to demand the resignation of President

Chen Shui-bian over corruption allegations on 9/9.

一件小插曲，卻暗示著群眾失控的風險。

an interlude hint that masses maybe uncontrolable.

主持人不小心說出了台灣國三個字，馬上被群眾逼著道歉。

The host said "Republic of Taiwan" mindlessly, and suddenly be forced by masses to apologize.

說我們是台灣國的確有點奇怪，

It's really a little bit strange to call out country "Republic of Taiwan".

但是我並不排斥這個名字，

But I don't reject this name.

而且我們本來就是台灣。

And we are Taiwan unquestionably.

美國人說王建民郭泓志來自台灣，日本人也說姜建銘來自台灣。

American say Wang ChienMing comes from Taiwan, while Japanese say Chiang ChienMing comes from Taiwan.

他們認為青天白日滿地紅是台灣的國旗，

They think the blue sky white sun red ground flag is Taiwan's national flag.

因為球場上那面旗旁邊總是寫著We are from Taiwan。

Because that flag is always beside the sentence "We are from Taiwan".

說中華民國誰知道呢？

Who knows Republic of China？

這不就對了嗎？

That's right！

為什麼不能說自己的國家是台灣呢？

Why can't I call my country Taiwan？

（當然我還是要說如果說"台灣國"的話聽起來就真的怪怪的，不過我並不排斥）

（Of cource I have to say that it's really strange to say "Republic of Taiwan", but I don't reject it.）

但是重點來了，為什麼很多人會對台灣兩個字那麼排斥呢？

And the point comes：why do so many Taiwanese reject the word "Taiwan"？

都是因為搞台獨的人的關係；

That's all because people doing the Taiwan independence movement.

而為什麼有人要搞台獨？

But why do poeple want to do the movement？

就是因為中共要統一台灣的關係。

That's because the People's Republic of China wants to unify Taiwan.

這真是奇妙有趣卻正常的現象啊！

What a marvelous but normal phenomenon！

所以老子才說要為無為啊！

Therefore LauTsih said "do nothing".

那為什麼要搞台獨呢？

But why do poeple want to do the Taiwan independence movement？

都說了外國人都叫我們台灣，

Yet foreigners call us Taiwan.

也只知道我們是台灣而不知道我們是中華民國，

And they just know us as Taiwan but not Republic of China,

我們卻還要無聊強調我們是台灣而不是中華民國，

we still want to emphasize that we are Taiwan but not Republic of China senseless.

所為何事？

For what？

最常聽到的理由就是：因為中共很可惡一直打壓我們啊！

The reason most heard is that the People's Republic of China is very hateful for oppressing Taiwan.

這個理由就好笑了，

This reason is ridiculous.

中共打壓我們是因為他們很賤的關係，

The People's Republic of China oppresses us for the reason that they are despicable,

又不是因為我們不搞台獨的關係，

not for that we don't do the Taiwan independence movement.

反而還因為我們搞台獨而更打壓我們，

Instead, they oprress us for that we do the Taiwan independence movement.

反而還因為我們搞台獨而更打壓我們而導致有些人討厭搞台獨而那些討厭搞台獨的人反而想要被中共統一。

And because of the Taiwan independence movement, somebody hating the people doing that movement want to be unified by the People's Republic of China.

又是神奇的老子理論啊！
